We aqua sport from April to September throughout the spring and summer.
If you love the water, come and make new friends, learn new skills and have lots of fun.
Leisurely meander down the river in a rowing boat.
Or Kayak and canoe plaing games, learning new skills but always with safety in mind.
Camping under canvas – cadets learning to be independent putting up tents, cooking outside and of course the dreaded washing up of pots and pans, and singing songs round the camp fire not forgetting the roasting of marshmallows on a stick.
Or perhaps staying on Pilot our sea ranger narrowboat exploring the inland waterways putting into practice our knots and seamanship learnt at the hut in the winter months.
Not forgetting the weekends aboard the training ship 'Lord Amory' moored in London Dockland kayaking, sailing, canoeing and rowing where rangers and cadets have opportunities to gain qualifications through BCU and RYA.
One of our favorite away weekends is stopping at Rose Cottage, an idyllic place on the Thames. Swimming, kayaking, rowing and playing on the surf board in the river are but a few pleasures to be had at this old world gas lit cottage.
Autumn to Winter see us swim, practice first aid, team building exercises, seamanship skills, competitions and much much more.
Come along and join the fun
